DETOXING MEMORIES!

"Don't let a root of bitterness grow in you and defile (poison) you."

Memories are a time machine. We re-live the past through memories. But if what we are rehearsing in our memory is resentment and anger, we are creating a toxic waste dump inside us! The only way to detox is to forgive.

At the center of Jesus' teaching is forgive one another, but that is against human nature. Probably no other teaching in the Bible is more rebelled against than "keep no record of wrongs"(1 Cor 13:4) And so the root grows in us.......

So about whom are you keeping a record of wrongs?

What names are on your list of "unforgivable"?

Anyone you holding judgments against?

Anyone you want bad things to happen to?
